The parents at Northeast Santa Ana Little League (NESALL) will be conducting a protest today over the forced closure of their baseball fields by the SAUSD on Wednesday, March 21.
As we reported yesterday the SAUSD sent armed school police officers to stop the Little League games and ordered everyone, including about 60 baseball players, parents, friends and volunteers of the NESALL premises. Continue reading
SAUSD School Police abruptly shut down the Northeast Santa Ana Little League (NESALL) today – traumatizing the innocent children who were playing baseball at the field located next to Sierra Preparatory Academy.

One of our readers sent us a note today via Facebook alleging that Mr. Joe Penaflor, the boys soccer coach at Santa Ana High School, had marked all his students who participated in the anti-gun violence march on Wednesday absent from his class!
Our reader thought this was crazy because the SAUSD participated in the walk-out. She wondered why the SAUSD made phone calls to the parents letting them know about the pending walk-out. Manuel Nava, a 21-year-old man already facing charges on suspicion of molesting three children was charged Friday with suspicion of harassing a 17-year-old cheerleader at Century High School in Santa Ana, according to the O.C. Register.
The OCDA is prosecuting Nava for allegedly molesting two boys and a girl. One of the boys was 6-years-old and the other was 11. The girl was 14 when she was allegedly attacked by Nava. Continue reading
