An unidentified bicyclist died early this morning, Jan. 12, after being struck by a vehicle in front of South Coast Global Medical Center, according to the O.C. Register.

The bicyclist was struck by a vehicle at around 6:30 a.m., on S. Bristol St., south of W. Warner Ave., according to the SAPD.

The vehicles and drivers involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with the SAPD’s police investigators.

The SAPD’s police investigators were still conducting their investigation at 7:45 a.m. this morning. They closed southbound S. Bristol Street between Central Avenue and Hemlock Way during their investigation.

The name of the bicyclist was not released.
