The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of  Oct. 22 to Oct. 30. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Update: El Calamar at 315 W. 17th St., Santa Ana, which was ordered closed Oct. 20 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen Oct. 21.
  • Hector’s Tacos & Mariscos, 2263 Fairview Road, Suite G, Costa Mesa, Closed: Oct. 28, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 30
  • Yoshiharu Ramen, 1891 N. Tustin Ave., Orange, Closed: Oct. 28, Reason: Plumbing in disrepair
  • Mariscos Nayarit, 135 W. Ball Road, Suite D, Anaheim, Closed: Oct. 29, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • El Puerto Gourmet Tortillas, 2632 W. La Palma Ave., Anaheim, Closed: Oct. 27, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: Oct. 28
  • Update: Misoya Rockin’ Sushi at 8893 Garden Grove Blvd., Garden Grove, which was ordered closed Oct. 21 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen Oct. 23.
  • The Flame Broiler, 1039 N. Tustin Ave., Anaheim, Closed: Oct. 28, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: Oct. 29
  • Subway, 17860 Newhope St., Suite 101, Fountain Valley, Closed: Oct. 28, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: Oct. 28
  • Pelican Isle, 16400 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, Closed: Oct. 28, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Oct. 29

  • Update: Fullerton Brew Co. at 305 N. Harbor Blvd., Suite 128, Fullerton, which was ordered closed Oct. 22 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Oct. 23.
