The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Sept. 16 to Sept. 24. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Joe Schmoe’s, 5123 Ball Road, Cypress, Closed: Sept. 17, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Sept. 18
  • La Chiquita Grocery, 902 E. Washington Ave., Santa Ana, Closed: Sept. 17, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Cafe del Sol, 3817 S. El Camino Real, San Clemente, Closed: Sept. 16, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Sept. 17
  • Update: Jo Won Noodle House at 928 N. Euclid St., Anaheim, which was ordered closed Sept. 17 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen Sept. 21.
  • Update: Ghost Town Grill at Knott’s Berry Farm, 8039 Beach Blvd., Buena Park, which was ordered closed Sept. 16 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen Sept. 17.
