Boy Scouts pancake breakfast

Support Santa Ana’s historic Boy Scouts Troop 28, at a pancake breakfast today, from 8 to 10 am, at the First Congregational Church located at 2555 Santiago,  in the Park Santiago neighborhood.

The pancake breakfast included freshly made fluffy pancakes, savory breakfast sausages and scrambled eggs.

There will also be an opportunity drawing for a $50 gift card. The winner doesn’t have to be present to win.

Troop 28 was created over 75 years ago and is one of Orange County’s most long lived troops.The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations.

The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

For over a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes — and, through over a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
