Chris Nguyen, over at OC Political, wrote a very complete analysis of the election results in the 72nd Assembly District, where two Republican candidates, Travis Allen and Troy Edgar, will face off again in November.

Nguyen analyzed the vote in each city in the 72nd and found that Edgar and Allen were in the top two in the Cities of Huntington Beach, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach,
and Rossmoor.  Edgar also came in second in the City of Garden Grove.

The third Republican candidate, Long Pham, was the top candidate in three cities: Westminster, Garden Grove and Santa Ana.  Edgar and Allen came in third and fourth respectively in Westminster and Midway City.  But they came in last in Santa Ana.  While only 18% of the voters in the Santa Ana portion of the 72nd voted, they could be a deciding factor in November.
