SAUSD Superintendent Thelma Meléndez de Santa Ana, Ph.D., will be the special guest speaker at the Com-Link meeting on Thursday, November 17, which will start at 6:30 pm.  The meeting will be held at the Heninger Park Elementary School, located at 416 W. Walnut, in Santa Ana.

The theme of the meeting is “A Special Celebration and Tribute to our Veterans.”

Here is the meeting agenda:

  • 6:30 pm – Socialize and network with other Santa Ana residents
  • 7 pm – Spotlight: Introduction to SAUSD Superintendent Thelma Meléndez de Santa Ana, Ph.D.
  • 7:15 pm – Committee updates
  • 7:30 pm – Recognition of Veterans
  • 8 pm – Thanksgiving basket giveaway and Neighborhood Association Roll Call

Snacks and refreshments will be available.

    1. The Com Link crowd is pretty old. I doubt many if them have kids in school. I would imagine that they would rather eat cocktail weenies instead of learning about our schools.

  1. The heart of the program for Thurs. evening is the Recognition of our Veterans, which is a tribute Com-Link generally presents at the November general meeting. The featured speaker is a World War II Medal of Honor recipient from our area. Hope you can join us, although we certainly do not promise cocktail weenies will be on the menu. More like Pumpkin Pie and who can resist that? 🙂
