OC Public Libraries presents Comic Orange, on 4/13 in Tustin

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (April 4, 2024) – – OC Public Libraries is pleased to present Comic Orange 2024. This year’s annual event is on Saturday April 13th from 11:00am-3:00pm at the Tustin Library.

Comic Orange is a celebration of libraries, cosplay, animation, graphic novels and more! This year will feature an artist talk with Dora Wang, creator of the Pocket Peaches series, at 1:00pm and an author talk with Joey Spiotto, author of the Grumpy Unicorn series, at 2:00pm.

In addition, there will be an artist alley, fan groups, storytime, DJ booth, and a special limited edition library card for all guests. No registration is required.

Presentations during Comic Orange 2024:

• 1:00 p.m. | Artist Talk: Dora Wang. Meet creator of the Pocket Peaches graphic novel series and learn how to draw Peaches followed by a Q&A.
• 2:00 p.m. | Author Talk: Joey Spiotto. Meet New York Times best-selling illustrator and author of several books including the hit graphic novel series Grumpy Unicorn followed by a Q&A.

Our Editor, Art Pedroza, worked at the O.C. Register and the OC Weekly and studied journalism at CSUF and UCI. He has lived in Santa Ana for over 30 years and has served on several city and county commissions. When he is not writing or editing Pedroza specializes in risk control and occupational safety. He also teaches part time at Cerritos College and CSUF. Pedroza has an MBA from Keller University.
