ANAHEIM, Calif. (January 24, 2024) – Detectives are conducting a homicide investigation after a man was shot and killed, according to the Anaheim Police Department.
On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at approximately 3:17 a.m., Anaheim Police Dispatch received a report of a shooting at the 200 block of E. Wakefield Ave.
Anaheim Police Officers and personnel from Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded to the scene and located a 49-year-old Anaheim man, Marcy Aguilar, who collapsed on the porch of an apartment. Aguilar was suffering from at least one (1) gunshot wound. Aguilar was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
