This incident happened at around 4:40 p.m., when Gonzalez reportedly walked up behind a customer at a Jack-in-the-Box located at 385 East 17th St. and then him him on the head with a metal napkin dispenser.

The startled customer suffered a laceration as a result of this unprovoked attack.

Store clerks at the 7-Eleven tried to block Gonzalez from leaving the store but he reacted by toppling product displays and he also began throwing items at the employees and also customers, according to the Costa Mesa P.D.

Gonzalez was finally Tasered by responding Costa Mesa police officers when he continued to act in an aggressive fashion.

The suspect was then taken to a local hospital – but he continued to act the fool, kicking a police officer in the chest. Fortunately that officer was not seriously hurt.
