On Saturday, March 11 at about 9 p.m. SAPD police officers responded to the area of 215 South Hickory after reports of a shooting. When they arrived they located a vehicle struck by gunfire, according to SAPD Case # 17-06591.

This shooting occurred northwest of Roosevelt Elementary School in Santa Ana’s Ward 2, which is represented by Mayor Pro Tem Michele Martinez.

On Sunday, March 12 at about 8 a.m. SAPD police officers responded to the area of 1400 N. Spurgeon after a shooting was witnessed. By the time the police officers arrived all the involved parties were gone, according to SAPD Case # 17-06623.

This shooting happened just west of Davis Elementary School in in Santa Ana’s Ward 2, which is represented by Mayor Pro Tem Michele Martinez.

On Sunday, March 12 at about 11:00 a.m. SAPD police officers responded to the area of 2200 S. Laura Linda after a shooting. The police officers located an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. He was taken to a local hospital for his injuries according to SAPD Case # 17-06641.

This shooting happened just west of Adams Elementary School in Santa Ana’s Ward 6, which is represented by Councilman Sal Tinajero.

Lastly on Sunday, March 12 at about 7:30 p.m. a victim was driving and saw her juvenile son in a vehicle with possible gang members. As she followed the car, someone from the car fired a gun towards her and the vehicle was struck by a bullet. SAPD police officers responded and after a thorough investigation located the juvenile and arrested him, according to SAPD Case # 17-06676.

  1. Why bother reporting?? City of Santa Ana is ruled with impunity and corruption. It won’t surprise me if the gangs are going to silent the community and the media of their activities. Gangs and Santa Ana Politics are a team.
