The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of June 11 to June 19. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Taqueria Sabroso y Picoso, 711 N. Bristol St., Santa Ana, Closed: June 17, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • Crave at 410 W. 4th St., Santa Ana, which was ordered closed June 12 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen June 13.
  • Cha OC Gia Huy, 10536 McFadden Ave., Garden Grove, Closed: June 15, Reason: Insufficient hot water, Reopened: June 15
  • Chong Qing Restaurant, 5406 Walnut Ave., Suite C, Irvine, Closed: June 17, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 19
  • Ho-Toy’s Chinese Food, 734 S. State College Blvd., Anaheim, Closed: June 16, Reason: Cockroach infestation
  • Cucina Alessa, 520 Main St., Huntington Beach, Closed: June 17, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 18
  • Salt & Pepper Restaurant & Bar, 1849 W. Orangethorpe Ave., Fullerton, Closed: June 16, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 17
  • Happy Liquor, 541 S. State College Blvd., Anaheim, Closed: June 15, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: June 15
  • American Legion Post 354, 8071 Whitaker Ave., Buena Park, Closed: June 15, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: June 16
  • No 1 Chinese Food, 1175 Baker St., Suite E-17, Costa Mesa, Closed: June 15, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 17
  • Inferno Eats, 2445 E. Imperial Highway, Suite F, Brea, Closed: June 11, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: June 13
  • Lee’s Sandwiches at 659 N. Euclid St., Anaheim, which was ordered closed June 4 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen June 12.
  • You & I Thai Cuisine at 623 N. Euclid St., Anaheim, which was ordered closed June 9 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen June 12.
