On 04/05/2023, at approximately 3:06 p.m., a wanted suspect approached a victim inside a fast-food restaurant located in the 1700 block of E. 17th Street.

Both parties exchanged words and the victim retreated to a table. The suspect pulled the victim to the ground, where he proceeded to punch him. The suspect subsequently fled on foot.

Suspect Description: Male, Hispanic, 5’9”-6’0” tall, 160-170lbs., black hair, last seen wearing a green hat, black sleeveless shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Suspect Vehicle: possibly a newer model Kia Soul – charcoal gray in color.

While the restaurant was not named by the SAPD there is an El Pollo Loco at the location in question.
