Santa Ana residents can go to the Santa Ana Zoo for tree this Sunday, Jan. 21.

This week the Santa Ana Zoo celebrated the 16th birthday of Bindi the Binturong. These animals are also known as bearcats. They are the only species in the genus Arctictis. They are native to South and Southeast Asia.

Other events and specials ou can take advantage of during your Zoo visit on Sunday include:

  • Zoo Rides- Regular hours Fri 11-2, Sat 11-4, Sun 11-4 Ride tickets are not included in general admission and can be purchased from the Train Depot daily.
  • Sat. Jan. 20 – Meet some new animal friends and learn all about them! At the CET, 12:00pm and 2:30pm, weather permitting. Included with admission.

Santa Ana residents receive free admission to the Zoo on the third Sunday of every month. Proof of residency (such as ID or a utility bill) is required.

Santa Ana Zoo admission usually costs $13 per adult, $10 for seniors and $10 per child. You can also get discounted entries by becoming a Zoo member which you can read about here.
