Three people were arrested Thursday, Nov. 9, following a high-speed police pursuit that began in Fountain Valley and ended in Huntington Beach, according to the O.C. Register.

On Wednesday, September 13th at 4:43 a.m. hours, our officers attempted to stop a vehicle that was just stolen from the victim’s driveway in the area of Hazard and Jackson. The suspect, Alfredo Hernandez, 38-years old, led our officers in a brief pursuit that covered a little more than a mile to the area of N. Hawley and W. 5th Street. An unidentified man suspected of driving a stolen car and leading SAPD police officers on a chase, crashed into two cars before being arrested yesterday, according to the O.C. Register.
SAPD police officers tried to pull over the suspect on Wednesday afternoon, at around 4:50 p.m., on August 2, as he was driving a Jaguar. He was suspected of a traffic violation near the cross streets of S. Bristol Street and W. Warner Avenue, according to the SAPD. Continue reading
An unidentified man reportedly ran from SAPD police officers, after a car crash, and jumped over several fences while holding a baby in his arms, before he abandoned the baby and hid in a house, according to the O.C. Register.
Juan Rodriguez, a 43-year-old man from Costa Mesa, was killed and his 9-year-old daughter was critically injured in Santa Ana when their car crashed during a police pursuit this Sunday, July 23, according to the O.C. Register.
SAPD police officers responded when they got a call about a man pointing a gun at a security guard during a fight at Mariscos Hector #2, located at 1208 E. McFadden, at Standard Avenue, according to the SAPD. Continue reading
Shortly before 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Santa Ana police tried to stop a vehicle for various violations including no license plate and no seatbelts, according to NBC News.
The driver, a documented gang member who was later identified as Jesus Arturo Martinez, refused to pull over so the police began to pursue his vehicle on local streets at speeds that topped 90 mph. At one point the suspect even drove the wrong way on the street, according to the SAPD. Continue reading
Auto Theft Suspects Arrested after Pursuit

Today, at 10:04 AM, Riverside PD’s air unit, Air-1, alerted Corona Police Dispatch to a pursuit of a stolen Honda Civic in the area of Hidden Valley and I-15. Corona units took over the pursuit of the Civic, which had been reported stolen to Buena Park Police earlier today, when it exited the 91 freeway at Main Street.
The driver, a 17 year-old male from Santa Ana, and the passenger, a 19 year-old male from Orange, were taken into custody without incident when the Civic stopped on Lilac Street near Via Santiago. Continue reading
Two men were attested by the SAPD on Monday afternoon, while the rest of us were enjoying the Memorial Day holiday, after they were pulled over and three guns were found in their car, according to the O.C. Register.
The police officers spotted the suspects, who were in a silver Nissan Sentra that was believed to have been carjacked last week, at about 4:30 p.m., at the 600 block of North Lacy St., near Garfield Elementary School, according to the SAPD. Apparently the bad guys have figured out how to escape during police pursuits. A group of burglars, all dressed in black, struck at a home at the 9700 block of Rangeview Drive, in wealthy unincorporated Santa Ana, at 8:45 p.m., on Saturday night, May 20, then sped off in a white pick-up truck that was pursued by an O.C. Sheriff patrol vehicle, according to the O.C. Register.
The police pursuit topped 100 mph at times, winding through Southern California freeways including the 91, the 105 and the 110. The suspect vehicle wove in and out of traffic very nearly hitting other vehicles at times. Continue reading
An unidentified man led SAPD police officers on a short car chase today after he fled from a traffic stop, in a stolen pickup truck, at 5:50 p.m., at McFadden and Grand Ave., according to the O.C. Register.
During the police pursuit the suspect intentionally rammed the pickup truck into a police cruiser. He then fled from the truck on foot and ran from the police for a few blocks. Continue reading

On Tuesday, 04/11/2017, at approximately 12:05 a.m., SAPD police officers were in the area of McFadden and Newhope when they attempted to stop a gray Toyota with no plates for vehicle code violations. The vehicle failed to yield and a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit terminated when the suspect vehicle crashed into the rear bedroom of a residence at Newhope and Holly in the city of Fountain Valley. Three suspects were immediately taken into custody and a fourth suspect fled on foot. Continue reading
An SAPD police officer who was attempting to stop a SUV Thursday morning for a traffic violation prompted a pursuit that led to a collision before the driver was arrested at the 1400 block of South Maple Street, according to the O.C. Register.

The SAPD received calls about the man being passed out in a Toyota Prius that was parked but left running, at around 8 a.m. on Flower Street. The callers thought the guy might have been drunk. Continue reading
A man believed to be a possible kidnapper was arrested by the SAPD after leading them on a fifteen minute police pursuit on Wednesday night, that ended at about 11:30 p.m. The pursuit ended in a crash at the 4000 block of El Camino Real in Irvine, according to Mynewsla.
SAPD police officers tried to pull over 21-year old Daisy Oropeza on Tuesday during a routine traffic stop at the 500 block of S. Sullivan Street however she refused to obey them, taking off instead and leading the police on a 25-minute chase that finally ended at a cul-de-sac, according to The Patch.
Then Oropeza doubled down on her ridiculous and unlawful behavior after she was cornered by two SAPD police officers, crashing the stolen 1992 Honda Accord she was driving into the police car. Continue reading
