The O.C. Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Jan. 16 to Jan. 24. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • MAZ Cafe Con Leche, 608 N. Lacy St., Santa Ana, Closed: Jan. 21, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Jan. 23
  • Mariscos Centenario, 1714 E. McFadden Ave., Suite A-B, Santa Ana, Closed: Jan. 21, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Jan. 22
  • Next Round Bar & Grill, 200 N. Broadway, Santa Ana, Closed: Jan. 18, Reason: Sewage overflow, Reopened: Jan. 18
  • Update: Jack In The Box at 3710 S. Bristol St., Santa Ana, which was ordered closed Jan. 15 because of sewage overflow, was allowed to reopen Jan. 16.
  • Update: D. D. Market at 322 W. 17th St., Suite B, Santa Ana, which was ordered closed Jan. 14 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen Jan. 17.
  • Update: Crepe Maker at MainPlace Mall, 2800 N. Main St., Suite 9100, Santa Ana, which was ordered closed Jan. 13 because of a rodent infestation, was allowed to reopen Jan. 17.
