Opening Day in Santa Ana starts on 3/2 with Little League and Pony events

Southwest Santa Ana Little League is celebrating their Opening Day this Saturday, March 2, from 10 am to 12 noon, at Memorial Park, which is located on Flower and Saint Gertrude.

Following the Opening Day ceremonies will be a fun game pitting the Coaches against the Southwest Santa Ana Little League’s Board Members.  Great food will be cooking at their awesome Snack Bar all day long.

Santa Ana Pony Baseball is also hosting their Opening Day ceremonies this Saturday, March 2, 2013, starting at 8 am, at Alona Park.

• 8:15 am – 8:30 am.  Teams Line up on the South Side of the Riverview Park!
• 9:00 am ceremonies begin
• Immediately following the celebrations Home Run Derby!
• Food will be served all day long
• Games will be played on all 5 fields!

Northeast Santa Ana Little League will be hosting their own Opening Day Ceremony on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at their field next to Sierra Intermediate, on Grand Ave. just North of 17th.  There are scrimmage games scheduled for tomorrow, March 2, at
