Yesterday, an “artist” visiting Irvine from Los Angeles decided to redecorate a bus shelter in the west area of our City with graffiti.

Irvine police officers arrived and saw Deon Clark, 25, painting gang-related graffiti on the shelter.

Clark was arrested and booked at Orange County Jail for felony vandalism.

The Irvine Police Department is grateful to the witness that called to report the vandalism.
