Trino Steven Leon and his family

Trino Steven Leon, a 48-year-old resident of Anaheim, died in Santa Ana due to multiple gunshot wounds, on Nov. 23, 2024. Leon’s family has started a GoFundMe page “for the memorial of my big brother Steven and to help support his daughters Isabel and Anabel.”

Leon was murdered one week after his 48th birthday.

Leon left behind his grieving mother, Mary, who has recently retired and is now left to deal with not only the pain of losing her eldest child but the financial burden to memorialize him. He also left behind his two wonderful, intelligent daughters who will forever be heartbroken, according to the GoFundMe page.

Leon’s sister Briana, who started the GoFundMe page, wrote that “For those who knew my brother, know what kind of a fun, silly spirit he had. Forever that big kid who loves UFOs, Bigfoot, and ice cream. His family and loved ones are still in disbelief that we won’t be able to see him again, but he’ll always be in our hearts.”

The GoFundMe page has already raised over $7,000.
