The 4th Annual Park Santiago’s Concert in the Park is set for Saturday, August 24, 2013, from 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm, at the Santiago Park Baseball Diamond, located at 601 E Memory Ln., in Santa Ana.  This is a family friendly neighborhood Concert in the Park hosted by the Park Santiago Neighborhood Association, and open to everyone!

The awesome local cover band Cheap Date will be performing.  Cheap Date  includes Mary Walters (who is married to our former Chief of Police and City Manager Paul Walters) and her family – including Ellen Hirota, backup and occasional lead vocalist;  Tim Hirota, lead guitarist, vocalist and manager; Peter Hirota, drummer; Ann “Annie” Spencer, backup vocalist and tambourine; and Dominic Hirota, lead vocalist, as well as longtime band members second guitarist Jeff Halili and bassist Brian Satterfield, according to the O.C. Register.

This year Park Santiago’s Charity is: Back To Natives Restoration!  Donations of planting supplies and cash will be taken for the organization. They are dedicated to the restoration and conservation of Orange County and California wildlands, through education and restoration programs featuring native plants as a centralizing theme.

Dancing, Food, Wonderful Vendors and so much more! Come with friends and family to enjoy the evening talking to people eating wonderful food and having fun in the Park!!!
