On 12/15/2023, male suspect entered the Macy’s at the MainPlace Mall, placed several fragrance items in a clear thrash bag, and attempted to exit the store, according to the SAPD.

When confronted by a loss prevention officer, the suspect stated he had a firearm and simulated he was concealing a weapon in his waistband.

The suspect fled the store with over $1,200 worth of stolen merchandise.

Suspect #1: Male, Hispanic, in his late 30s, wearing a black jacket, white shirt, and black pants
