Fullerton Police press release

On Saturday, March 15, 2025, at approximately 10:03 PM, Fullerton Police Officers responded to the area of N. Euclid St. and W. Valencia Mesa Dr. regarding a motorcyclist down in the roadway.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male and a Gray Harley Davidson in the northbound lanes of N. Euclid St. The Fullerton Fire Department arrived on scene and pronounced the male deceased.

Preliminary investigations indicates that the motorcyclist was traveling northbound Euclid St. in the number two lane at a high rate of speed when he lost control and struck the east curb of Euclid St, just north of W. Valencia Mesa Dr.

At this time, it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a factor in the cause of the collision.
The identity of the motorcyclist will be released by the Orange County Coroner’s Office.

Accident Investigators are seeking further information from anyone who might have witnessed either collision.

Any witnesses with information about this fatal traffic collision are encouraged to contact Fullerton Police Traffic Accident Investigator Manes at (714) 738-6815 or jmanes@fullertonpd.org. Those wishing to provide information anonymously can call the Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1(855) TIP-OCCS or can visit their website at occrimestoppers.org.

Motorcyclists face significant risks on the road. In 2022, there were 6,218 motorcyclist deaths in the U.S., which accounted for about 15% of all motor vehicle crash deaths.

Motorcyclists are 28 times more likely to die in a crash compared to occupants of passenger cars.

Unsafe driving practices, such as speeding, not wearing helmets, and unlicensed riding, contribute to these high fatality rates.

It’s crucial for motorcyclists to follow safety guidelines to reduce these risks.
