Someone threw a Molotov cocktail into a vehicle parked outside of Mama Hieu’s Vietnamese Fried Chicken, on Mallard Drive, in Garden Grove, at around 2 a.m. on Sunday as reported by ABC.

The car caught fire, and the Garden Grove police investigators believe that the suspect may also have been injured as well.

The arson incident was caught on surveillance video. The owners of the restaurant say they do not recognize the male suspect seen in the surveillance video.

The Garden Grove police investigators do not believe that there is enough evidence yet to call this incident a hate crime, but their investigation is continuing.

SpotFund account has been set up to help the family that runs the business.

Mama Hieu’s Vietnamese Fried Chicken does not appear to be an actual dine-in restaurant. Apparently you have to order the food for pickup. You can message their Instagram account. You may also call them at (714) 261-6110.
