Police detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the wanted suspect involved in a robbery/theft investigation, according to the SAPD.
On April 23, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the victim was shopping inside Superior Grocers store located at 1720 E. 17th St. when his vehicle was broken into.
Approximately one hour later, the victim received several notifications on his cell phone that his credit card was being used at a nearby fast-food restaurant.
The victim went to the location in an attempt to re-obtain his property when he contacted the alleged suspect carrying his stolen backpack. The suspect brandished a firearm from his hooded sweatshirt and the victim fled in fear.
