On 9/19/2023, Jose Ramos Jr. was given $28,000 by a victim after he used an elaborate investment scam. Several weeks later, Ramos cut all communications with the victim and is believed to have fled the area, according to the SAPD.

Ramos has a criminal history, including violent offenses in the states of Texas and Michigan, with a last known address in the City of Huntington Beach.

Ramos has recently frequented several Orange County Churches/ Faith groups and organizations, possibly in search of other persons to defraud.
