Raymond Miramontes

On August 11, 2023, at approximately 12:00PM, Santa Ana Police officers responded to Denny’s restaurant located at 2530 S. Bristol Street, reference a customer, later identified as arrestee Raymond Miramontes, causing a disturbance.

Miramontes was refusing to pay for his food and falling asleep in a booth. When officers arrived, they detained Miramontes. As officers conducted their investigation, a female adult customer contacted them and reported that Miramontes had just sexually assaulted her juvenile son in the men’s restroom of the Denny’s.

The victim was interviewed and reported while he was in the men’s restroom, Miramontes entered and sexually assaulted him. The child disclosed the assault to his mother while officers were already on scene investigating the disturbance, and she immediately notified the officers.

Miramontes was transported to the Orange County Jail and booked on various sexual assault charges. His bail has been set at $1,000,000.00.

Santa Ana Police Department detectives believe there could be additional victims. Detectives are asking for anyone with information to contact Detective Anthony Pacheco at 714-245-8352 apacheco@santa-ana.org or Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS
