Last week, 18-year-old Jesse Ray Taylor III snatched a purse from a victim at the University Center, according to the Irvine Police Department.

Police officers quickly located Taylor driving on Jamboree, but he did not stop when officers tried to pull him over. He drove at high speeds and got away from officers on the 405 freeway.

Yesterday, police officers surprised Taylor with a visit at his residence, leading to his arrest and booking at Orange County Jail for felony evasion and grand theft.

You can run, but you can’t hide from the Irvine Police!
