Yesterday, at 7:30 am O.C. Sheriff deputies responded to a domestic assault in the 32000 block of Alipaz Street in San Juan Capistrano.

When they arrived they found a 77-year-old man, a 79–year-old woman and a dog all deceased.

The deputies located the suspect a short time later on a bike trail near Calle Arroyo and a deputy-involved shooting occurred.

The suspect was taken to the hospital where he is listed as in critical but stable condition.

OC Sheriff is investigating the homicide and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office is investing the deputy-involved shooting.
