Thanks, but no Thanks!

(An alternative way to celebrate a day of giving thanks)

“The Thanks, but no Thanks” is a yearly gathering of friends and family held the day after Thanksgiving. It is a potluck, with the hosting family providing the main dish. An open microphone allows participants to share poetry, music, art, literature or express political, social or personal commentary. Participation is encouraged, but not required. It is recommended that you bring a sweater, jacket or blanket. It can get cold. Everyone is welcome.
