In case you are wondering why Santa Ana’s Lincoln Elementary School was locked down today, here are the details. An unidentified man apparently stabbed another man in his 30’s this morning in what police described as a dispute between roommates, according to the OC Register.

The SAPD responded to a call about the stabbing this morning at around 10:40 a.m., at the Fairview Mobile Home Estates on S. Sullivan Street, according to the SAPD.

The victim was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange where he was said to be in critical trauma condition.

The suspect fled the scene before the police arrived. Police searched the area but no one matching the description of the subject was found. Police then closed off the scene and the mobile home park.

As we reported earlier today, Lincoln Elementary School was placed on lockdown while the police looked for the suspect in the area. The lockdown order has since been ordered.
