Garden Grove – Firefighters were called out to a home for a man that was injured while working in a large tree shortly after 12:30 PM today, according to the OCFA.

Engine 82 found the victim approximately 25’ up and in need of paramedic level care.

The crew utilized their ground ladders to access the patient and initiate care in the tree.

With the assistance of Anaheim Fire & Rescue, the firefighters lowered the patient from the ladder in conjunction with the high point.

He was treated and escorted to the hospital by Truck 81’s firefighter paramedics.
