Santa Ana, CA, Jan 22, 2024—Syrentis Clinical Research will hold a free memory screening event on Friday, January 26, 2024 for people aged 50 and above to increase awareness for early detection of memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease.

In California, it is estimated that more than 690,000 people are currently living with Alzheimer’s Disease, and experts predict that this number will increase to almost 840,000 people by 2025.

Syrentis Clinical Research will offer its free, confidential memory screening in English on Friday, January 26, 2024 between 11 am – 3 pm, at their clinic, 1401 North Tustin Avenue Suite 130 in Santa Ana, offering free parking and light refreshments for attendees. Syrentis Clnical Research is part of the Global Alzheimer’s Platform Foundation GAP-Net, which is a network of academic and private research sites dedicated to advancing clinical research for Alzheimer’s and other dementia related diseases.

The 30-minute memory testing for adults ages 50 and older will be conducted in a private setting. After attendees complete the assessment, they meet one-on-one with a health professional who can discuss the results with them and address any questions or concerns they have about their memory. Early detection of memory problems is crucial for more intervention options and better quality of life. It also allows individuals to learn of eligibility to participate in clinical trials to slow the progression of a memory disorder.
