Correa to host a higher education and career development program on June 4

Please join State Senator Lou Correa and the Young Senators program for a Young Senate session on Higher Education and Career Development, on June 4, from 8 am to 1 pm, at Coastline Community College, located at 12901 Euclid, in Garden Grove.

The program will include the following workshop topics:

• college application process
• life as a college student
• career paths: military, vocational
• training, law, public safety, health, etc.
• job interviewing & resume building
• internships & scholarship opportunities

This event is free to all high school students & their parents. Light snacks & refreshments will be provided. space is limited.

Art Pedroza Editor

Our Editor, Art Pedroza, worked at the O.C. Register and the OC Weekly and studied journalism at CSUF and UCI. He has lived in Santa Ana for over 30 years and has served on several city and county commissions. When he is not writing or editing Pedroza specializes in risk control and occupational safety. He also teaches part time at Cerritos College and CSUF. Pedroza has an MBA from Keller University.
