The SAUSD Becomes a Provision 2 District Providing Meals at No Charge to All Students

The Santa Ana Unified School District has become eligible to provide at no charge breakfast and lunch meals to students.

Based on their high percentage of students who qualify for free and reduced meals, they are eligible under the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. Letters were sent to parents earlier this week.

  1. I’m sure there’s 1% of the total SAUSD student population that can fork over the money to pay for both breakfast and lunch…Come’on America!!!! Tax Payers’ money down the toilet!

    1. I think these freebies are engineered to subsidize food producers. Next year is an election year and Obama and the Democrats are going to turn these subsidies into votes. Their aim is to take back the House.
