On January 9, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a wanted suspect selected a power drill and exited a Santa Ana business without paying.

A store loss prevention associate attempted to stop the subject, but the subject reached for his waistband and made statements that suggested he had a firearm concealed in his waistband.

The suspect fled through the parking lot and was last seen entering the front passenger door of an early 2000’s white Toyota Tacoma double cab.

Suspect Description: Male, Hispanic, 30-40 years old, 5’8”-5’10” tall, 170-200 lbs., shaved head, mustache and a tattoo of lips on the left side of his neck. The suspect was wearing a black Ralph Lauren hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black Nike shoes.

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the wanted suspect is asked to contact Detective T. Engle at (714) 245-8351 or TEngle@santa-ana.org.
