On the evening of February 16, a male suspect, armed with a rifle, demanded money from another man at the La Quinta Inn, according to the Irvine Police Department.
The victim walked away from the man, and there was no loss.
The Irvine police investigators believe the suspect is a male Hispanic, between 20 and 30 years old, with black shoulder-length hair.
The suspect left in a maroon vehicle that appeared to be a Lexus ES350.
