Who goes to a cemetery to drink beer and get into fights? On Memorial Day weekend? Apparently that is a thing here in Santa Ana. Two people were hurt today when a fight broke out among five men at Santa Ana Cemetery, according to the O.C. Register.

One of the men was shot in his upper torso and another was shot in his lower torso, according to the SAPD.

Two people were injured Sunday when a fight broke out among five males at the Santa Ana Cemetery.

The incident happened before lunch today as the paramedics were called in at 12:20 p.m., according to the OCFA.

A witness, who was visiting his deceased loved ones with his family, said that the fight was over in ten seconds. He also said that the fight happened just past the cemetery’s entrance.

Apparently two men were at a grave, drinking beers and in the words of the witness “just chillilng” when three other guys came up to them and started a fight.

The fight quickly escalated as three gunshots were heard and two of the men were shot.

The SAPD is trying to figure out what happened and whether or not the fight might have been gang-related.
