The OC Health Care Agency has released a list of the eateries (including restaurants, caterers and even school kitchens) that they inspected and shut down for the week of Aug. 8 to Aug. 16. Most of these eateries reopen pretty quickly after the health inspectors determine their issues have been resolved.

  • Mixabowl at MainPlace Mall, 2800 N. Main St., Suite 11, Santa Ana, Closed: Aug. 14, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Aug. 15
  • Jobento, 1228 E. Edinger Ave., Santa Ana, Closed: Aug. 12, Reason: Rodent infestation
  • El Tapatio, 1214 E. Pomona St., Santa Ana, Closed: Aug. 12, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Aug. 13
  • Tacos Jr.’s, 450 S. State College Blvd., Anaheim, Closed: Aug. 15, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Aug. 16
  • Landers Liquor Bar, 2101 Harbor Blvd., Costa Mesa, Closed: Aug. 14, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Aug. 15
  • Snack bar at Golfers Paradise, 1600 N. Harbor Blvd., Fullerton, Closed: Aug. 13, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Aug. 14
  • Kitchen at The Meridian, 525 S. Anaheim Hills Road, Anaheim, Closed: Aug. 12, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Aug. 13
  • Mini-market at Manny’s Family Hand Wash, 2762 El Camino Real, Tustin, Closed: Aug. 12, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Aug. 13
  • Juice It Up!, 26921 Aliso Creek Road, Suite G, Aliso Viejo, Closed: Aug. 9, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Aug. 16
  • L’amai Fusion, 9550 Bolsa Ave., Suite 115-F, Westminster, Closed: Aug. 9, Reason: Rodent infestation, Reopened: Aug. 11
  • Out Of Bounds, 21022 Brookhurst St., Huntington Beach, Closed: Aug. 8, Reason: Cockroach infestation, Reopened: Aug. 9
  • Update: Hummingbird House Cafe at 26711 Verdugo St., San Juan Capistrano, which was ordered closed Aug. 8 because of insufficient hot water, was allowed to reopen Aug. 9.
  • Update: Xoi Hoang Huong at 7791 Westminster Blvd., Westminster, which was ordered closed Aug. 7 because of a cockroach infestation, was allowed to reopen Aug. 9.
