SAPD police officers shot and wounded an unidentified male suspect this afternoon before 3 p.m., according to the O.C. Register.

The shooting happened about a block East of Original Mike’s near the intersection of Cypress Avenue and East First Street, according to the SAPD.

The suspect is now at a local hospital.

He said the suspect has been transferred to a local hospital.

According to other media sources there was a second suspect who was arrested. Both of these men were wanted in conjunction with the recent kidnapping and murder of a Santa Ana man.

The suspects were apprehended today when their vehicle was spotted by police at a local car wash.
