SAPD MET Detectives conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 300 Block of N. Newhope Street.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as a gang member on active parole and in possession of approximately 300 rounds of ammunition as well as narcotics for sales.
SAPD MET detectives conducted a follow-up investigation, which lead them to the City of Anaheim where they recovered an unloaded firearm.
