On May 13, 2020, Santa Ana PD Vice detectives, with the assistance of the MET team, executed a search warrant at a Slap House at ‪4902 W. 6th Street‬.

Thirty subjects were detained, the team seized 11 illegal gambling machines, arrested 4 subjects for warrants, and the building was red-tagged by Code Enforcement.

On May 14, 2020, Vice Detectives with the assistance of the MET team, executed a search warrant at a Cyber Cafe at ‪312 E. 1st Street‬

Seven subjects were detained, the team seized 11 illegal gambling machines and $7,067 US currency. The building was red-tagged by Code Enforcement.

  1. Seized $7,000? ….. was it really worth all the work put in to shut down when we’re talking about less money than the average home poker game?
