John Hernandez of Laguna Niguel arrested by the SAPD on narcotics and parole violation charges

Last night, graveyard patrol officers were conducting proactive enforcement on E. 1st Street when they attempted to contact a known probationer, according to the SAPD.

Upon seeing the officers, the individual fled, and a short foot pursuit ensued.

The suspect, positively identified as John Hernandez of Laguna Niguel, was detained and found to be in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.

Hernandez was subsequently booked at the Santa Ana Jail on narcotics-related charges and a probation violation.
