On Thursday, Irvine Police Department Specialized Investigations Unit (SIU) Detectives conducted a probation search at a residence in Irvine.

When the convicted felon and probationer was contacted outside his home, he was carrying a bag with 3 pounds of Methamphetamine.

Inside his residence, SIU found an unregistered loaded gun, another pound of Methamphetamine, 480 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms, and 120 grams of Fentanyl.

The man was arrested and got free lodging at the Gray Bar Hotel.
