On Sunday morning, multiple suspects burglarized a building at Irvine High School (IHS) and three buildings around Heritage Park.

During the crime spree, the suspects stole a new Irvine High School golf cart!

Irvine High School would really like their property back and the Irvine Police Dept. is hoping that the community can help.

Please contact School Resource Officer Brennan at ebrennan@cityofirvine.org if you have information related to these thefts or were involved and would like to do the right thing and turn yourself in.

Update just posted today by the Irvine Police Dept. on Facebook:

You may have seen our post last night about the stolen golf cart from Irvine High School (IHS). Just as we suspected, a member of our awesome community called us after seeing our post.

They spotted the golf cart at Greentree elementary, which is across the street from IHS. IPD officers located the cart along with four juveniles. The decals were removed and it was in the process of receiving a new paint job. The wheels of justice are always spinning folks! Thank you to the person who called this in and helped our partners @ihsvaqueros get their golf cart back. Officers also recovered other stolen property at one of the juveniles residences.

P.S. For any of you wondering, the thieves are home grown and the golf cart was out of battery.
