Eleuterio Gomezgodinez, a 47-year-old man, was charged on Tuesday, June 20 with sexually assaulting two women who were unconscious, in Irvine.

Gomezgodinez is facing felony charges of rape of an unconscious person on Feb. 20, 2015 and rape, oral copulation of an unconscious person on May 8, 2022.

Gomezgodinez pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana and he was ordered to return to court on July 28 for a pretrial hearing at the Harbor Justice Center, in Newport Beach.

Gomezgodinez was arrested on Thursday after investigators received evidence linking him to the 2022 case, according to the Irvine police.
