The SAPD’s Major Enforcement Team, AB109 Detectives and California Department of Justice Agents served a search warrant, to a documented Santa Ana gang member suspected of manufacturing firearms.

One of the primary suspects was detained at the location by police detectives.

A search of the residence yielded four manufactured assault weapons, two rifles, seven handguns, approximately thirty extended magazines, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

The suspect was arrested and booked at the Santa Ana Jail for numerous firearm violations.

The SAPD’s Gang Unit served a search warrant at a residence in Garden Grove while hunting for a Santa Ana gang member who was suspected of being in the possession of a firearm.

The suspect was detained at the location and a search of the residence yielded a loaded .22 caliber revolver.

The suspect was arrested and booked at the Santa Ana Jail for firearm violations.

SAPD patrol officers were conducting proactive enforsement when they attempted to make contact with two suspects.

One of the suspects discarded a loaded Polymer 80 semi-automatic handgun in a nearby trash can.

Both of the suspects were detained by the officers. The suspects turned out to be juveniles.
