Santa Ana street closures and permitted events for December 5 to 11

Below are the locations of upcoming permitted events and road closures in Santa Ana so you may plan accordingly. Please drive slowly and safely in construction zones and around crowded events. If a weather event occurs on the anticipated start date, the street closures for construction activity will be delayed until the weather clears.

Friday, December 6

  • Bristol Street and Edinger Avenue parking lot 
    • Friday Night Munchies; Event hours: 5-10 p.m. 
  • Lane closure northbound on Santa Ana Boulevard and Ross Street and right turning lane westbound Santa Ana Boulevard and Ross Street for OC Streetcar construction
    • 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

Saturday, December 7

  • Plaza Calle Cuatro
    • DTSA Art walk; Event Hours: 2-7 p.m.
  • Closure in 1100 block of S. Ross Street with adjacent closures on Russell, Birch, Borchard and Garnsey
    • Wilshire Square Neighborhood Assoc. Christmas Parade & Celebration; Hours: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • One traffic lane westbound on Santa Ana Boulevard between Flower and Shelton streets due to construction
    • 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • One traffic lane in each direction on Broadway between 15th Street and Washington Avenue due to road construction
    • 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Sunday, December 8

  • Santa Ana Stadium
    • Youth Mariachi Showcase and Resources Fair; Event Hours: 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.
    • Fiesta del Mariachi; Event hours: 6-10 p.m.

Monday, December 9

  • Lane closures on northbound Ross Street at Santa Ana Blvd. intersection for OC Streetcar construction; closure of right-hand turn lane from westbound Santa Ana Blvd. to northbound Ross Street
    • 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday, December 9 through December 19

  • Street closure northbound SR-55 on MacArthur Boulevard on-ramp for construction
    • 24 hours each day

Through December 16

  • One traffic lane on Memory Lane between Flower Street and Westwood Avenue for landscaping work 
    • 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day
