Most folks would pull over – but not this gangbanger. He sped off and led the police on a short car chase.

The police believed that the suspect was hiding in his home on Gunther Street. They tried to talk him into leaving the home and turning himself in.

When the suspect did not materialize the SAPD called off the search, just before 6 pm.

The search was called off shortly before 6 p.m.

The suspect will likely be charged with suspicion of sideswiping cars, assault with a deadly weapon and felony evading police.

At the end of the commotion, the suspect’s car was towed.

This incident happened in Santa Ana’s Ward 5, which is represented by Councilman Roman Reyna.
