ORANGE COUNTY DEPUTY SHERIFFS OVERWHELMINGLY VOTE TO RATIFY TENTATIVE CONTRACT AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY OF ORANGE

Three-Year Contract Now Goes To County Board Of Supervisors For Final Approval

SANTA ANA – The Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs (AOCDS) announced today that their membership has voted overwhelmingly by a vote of 86.5% (766 votes) to 13.5% (120 votes), to ratify the contract agreement their leadership and negotiations team recently negotiated with the County of Orange.

The contract now goes to the County Board of Supervisors for final approval. They are scheduled to consider it at their Tuesday, February 9 board meeting.

The contract will be posted on the County of Orange Web Site for review by the public from January 27, 2010 to February 9, 2010.
