Charles Raymont Robinson, a 49-year-old man, was arrested on charges of pimping and raping a woman in Anaheim.

Robinson is facing felony charges of human trafficking, pimping, pandering, rape, assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury and criminal threats. He pleaded not guilty on Tuesday and is next due in court for a pretrial hearing April 19 in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana.

Anaheim police officers stopped at a motel at the 1200 block of East Orangethorpe Avenue, on Sunday at 6:30 p.m., to check on a woman staying there.

The alleged rape happened on Saturday and the woman was also threatened and assaulted on Sunday, according to the Anaheim Police Department.

Robinson is accused of raping, pimping and assaulting the woman at the motel in question.
